I only have about 5 weeks to make this if possible. While I am starting my search today. Thought this would be a good place to start.

Looking for a kit to make a felt tip permanent marker pen.

To will be used to sign a wedding guest book. The signatures will be placed one small puzzle like pieces of thin wood. After the wedding the puzzle will be assembled sealed an mounted in a frame.

Anyway hoping to find a kit for the felt tip, so we are not forced to use a sharpie.

ANY HELP or IDEAS ?

Berea Hardwoods sells a kit called the Hymark which is designed to wrap around a sharpie type marker. I haven't made one, but it might fit what you are seeking to do.

The Hymark kit fits many more pens than just a sharpie. Here's a list I've tried:

uni-ball Signo
Papermate Liquid Expressions
uni-ball Vision Elite
Sharpie Accent Highlighters
And, of course, Sharpie markers.

Thanks to all for the information, I believe the Hymark kit is the way to go. Going to get a couple ordered this week.

Thanks again
