I've already spent way too much time looking for this material so thought I would ask here. A year ago I bought a 1" thick slice of a fairly large burl and let it dry for about 8 months before using it. The finished pens are amazing and the wood is a fun challenge to turn. I went back to the original source and they tell me they are out and can't get more in the foreseeable future. Anyone here know of a reliable source? Any ideas will be appreciated

my local vendor has 2 bolivian rosewoods listed. look here

call them also. they usually have more than listed.
if this is what you are looking for i live 5 min from this place. maybe we could work something out. i could pick up, cut and ship for a portion of the wood.
