Anybody have a source for colored lumber. I am planing on making some laminated pen blanks and need some blue strips about 1/4" x 3/4", length not an issue. Since I will laminate the blank the lumber has to be blue throughout not just the surface.

Thanks Eugene.

Not lumber, but will these blanks work?

Dario, I would rather find the dyed lumber and make my own blanks... alot cheaper than buying blanks and having to cut them. Thanks anyway. Here are the school colors:

Eugene,
I think you're going to have trouble with dye penetration. You might be better off dying the wood yourself after you've cut it to the desired size (or close to the desired size).

You can also search for Blue Mahoe, and Blue pine, if the wood that's dyed while still alive doesn't work for you. Also try searching spalted pecan, which sometimes turns completely to a florescent blue.
