What would fit a Jet Mini? I don't see any compatibility listings for the jet.

Dario - does the short taper on the center still allow it to self-eject, or do you need to use the knock out bar? I have a drill chuck with a short taper for my Jet Mini, and I have to knock it out, it won't self eject. My LC is from PSI and it has a longer taper, so it is self ejecting. Truthfully, it's not a big deal either way :)

Rich,

I am sorry but I honestly am not sure. I use an MT2 extension and the live center mounts to that. Hopefully someone will comment on it soon.

I beleive the 1189 has been shortened to provide maximum center to center distance on the mini metal lathes Chris supports. The standard length MT2 live center is part no. 2871.

Jack,
I buy the live centre like this, cut the thread off the end of mandrel, fit a brass insert with a snug fit hole to take the mandrel.
The pic shows the removed centre and brass insert to be pressed in.
Works for me. Peter
