I need a 60 degree live center, do I go with a cheap HF one or should I get one somewhere else? Advice?

Also when buffing, I have a buffing wheel and some white diamond... is that all I need?

I can't advise you on the live center, but as for the buffing, it depends on what your finishing routine is. White Diamond is the only buffing I do on my pens with a CA finish.

Tripoli, whyte diamond and carnuaba wax normally comprise the 'three' step BUFFING method.

Your pens, your choice. I would add another wheel for carnuba. The white diamond is a fine abrasive that can remove tiny swirl marks. Carnuba is a hard wax that can put a protective coat onto a finish. It will wear off but it is a good start.

Buy a live center from The Little Machine Shop, Very good quality and very cheap.
