Jake--the kits calls for a 31/64" bit but I find that a 1/2" bit works better for me since I use polyurethane (Gorilla brand) glue. You can always find drill bit sizes for CSUSA kits on their website by looking up the kit.

The Ligero requires 2 different drill bits.
The instructions say 31/64" and 17/32".
These sizes work for me.
If you do not have the instructions, you can
download the instructions (Ligero Pem.pdf)
from CSUSA' web site.

Jake--My mistake, but I was lead on by the CSUSA online catalog page for the Ligero. It appears that the two barrels require two different sizes of drills. The complete instructions and materials required are here. http://www.woodturnerscatalog.com/pdf/ligero_pen.pdf
