Will Leopard wood crack like Snake wood? I was thinking of buying some and I've heard the horror stories of Snake wood cracking months after it was turned, and it looks a lot like Snake wood

I've made several pens out of Leapord and they haven't cracked yet. A couple have been slow selling so I've had them in my case for more than a year, they still look fine. Also I can't remember ever having heard Leapord mentioned in conversations about which woods tend to crack.

No they won't crack. Leopard wood behaves like lacewood (and at times is actually the same thing) which doesn't have anything in common with snakewood.
