laser engraving using artwork

Can any of the laser engravers here use line art (like a jpg or tiff) for the engraving. I just sold a dozen pens that I used waterslide decals and on and that was a PAIN.

They turned out nice, and the price was right, but the buyer may want more and a larger quantity.

PM would be fine.

I have done a couple simple images with my engraver:
I just used simple .jpg files and my engraver had no problems with them.
I get my engraving done by a friend who lives in my area and does engraving part time in his garage. PM me if you want his contact info. He is north of Toronto near 400 and Aurora Road.

I've used Kallenshaan Woods for surface laser engraving, he does a nice job.

I call Noveau Scrimshaw when I sell it.

And Jim Pyle is in your neck of the woods and is wood graver on here who does fantastic work

JPG, TIF, EPS or PDF are your best bet. I prefer PDF when supplied to me.
