i got in my very first "stars and stripes" baron kit and as i sanded the upper barrel saw some white showing thru the blue. looked as if the blue dye hadn't penetrated far enough? anyway, i called ken, he agreed with me, said it rarely happens, and i was told that a new kit would be on the way as soon as we hung up. reminded me of the NO BS guarantee a certain reloading company has. thanks ken, and you can be sure i will be ordering from you in the future.

As for the other pen, you might be able to do some magic with a blue sharpie.

If the color doesn't turn out exactly like the other blue, maybe check to see if you can hide the slightly off-color star under the clip.

That's Ken, all the time! The fact is, there's a bit of a learning curve on some of the kits and after making 1 mistake he figures you won't make the same mistake again ("He don't know me vewwy well, hahahaha"-Elmer Fudd) but at any rate Ken's 1 of those vendors I hope makes a gozzillion dollars, because he's such a darn decent guy. I really need to get out and visit him in Vegas.
If he just had some connections with the showgirls...
