So I'm giving up on that I was having problems dissasembling... which is cool because I didn't make it, but sad for the guy that I was working on it for. He got it while he was in hawaii and I guess he's used it for years. Anyway, I want to make him a new pen, maybe a set, should I buy some Koa off of ebay or do you guys know a better source? I'm looking for something with really good figure.

Chuck,

I have some koa. How much do you need and how soon?

If you are interested, send me a PM/email so I can send some pics your way.

Chuck,

There are a couple of sellers on Ebay these days that have some very curly Koa. It gets a little pricy, but it is very nice looking wood. I will check on the sellers names.
eganlaw & koa_wood are the ones I was thinking of.

eganlaw is a great guy... I lost one of his auctions and emailed him and he hooked me up... He was actually cutting pen blanks today and he sent me a bunch for a pretty fair price. I'll do business with him again in a minute. Thanks guys.
