Hello,
I have a question regarding threading of body, cap, section of kitless pens.
Tap and dies or a machine lathe? Either or both?
Any input would be appreciated.

Depending on your skill level and available tooling and lathe, you can do either.

Tap and Die is probably easiest and most common for most people, particularly when done with a lathe of any variety (wood or metal) to keep alignment correct.

That's what I thought. I will search the forums for info on threading.
My thought is for an amber demonstrator eyedropper. Hopefully not too ambitious for a beginner. Though I am no stranger to a lathe cutting threads is not something I do. My experience is in metal spinning. I will eventually attempt to shape copper for pen parts.
Thanks for your input.
