Kitless pen challenge

I have started listing the people that have shown an interest in the kitless slimline challenge .
Please check in over in the Advanced penturning forum and check out my first entry , a slimline made with only my lathe a mandrel and my drillpress , I made this pen just to show that it can be done with only basic penturning equipment .
If you have made a pen for this challenge please post it in that thread .

Let's go people , lots of you said you would like to try this challenge but so far the turnout has been less then stellar :yawn: .
We have had several examples that it can be done and they look great , and I posted one made with just a regular mandrel and livecenter just to show that you don't need any special tools to do it .
Lets make some kitless pens !!!
