kit design cross-reference

I asked this in another thread, but that probably wasn't the best place for it, so I'm asking it by itself.

Is there a list anywhere that gives the names that the various suppliers use for the same kits? I've seen that different outfits call the same thing by different names. An example would be the Polaris/Trident/Carbara/whatever pen.

It would be great to know who calls what by what name, and who actually makes the kit.

Not that I have seen. I have been compiling a list over the last 2 years. I just add to it when I read it in a thread or see it somewhere on the net.
