Jr. Statesman Problem/Question

I just turned my first Jr. Statesman (sorry no photos yet). Before I assembled it, I tested the threading, and all seemed fine. After assembly however, it seems to have the threading problem that was mentioned in a different thread. Should I just deal with it, or is it worth it to disassemble it, and put a corrected part into it (which I have not yet requested from CSUSA)? The material, if it matters, is Polyester Resin.

If it's a Jr. Statesman Version 2, it might be an easy fix with the replacement part. It's normally not too difficult to pop the centerband coupler out and press in the new one. Either way, feel free to send me a private message and I'll help you out. Thanks!
