Jr. Gent. Short top barrel...any problem???

In the process of trimming a snakeskin top barrel or a Jr. Gent. and not being able to see the brass very well, it looks like I trimmed it a bit short. Will this propose any problems when the pen is put together? Can I shorten the bottom barrel a tad to make it proportional? Thanks...

Most likely not unless it is a major shortening. I would not try to shave the CB though.

Do not shorten the lower barrel. You didn't say whether it was a fountain pen or rollerball. A rollerball needs the length as will a fountain pen if you use the pump instead of cartridges.
