I recently purchased a couple of tritons and jr gents from one of our great suppliers. After reading on line that the tubes and the bushings are the same, I clearly misunderstood what I read.

The bushings and bits are the same for the Jr Gent II not the Junor Gent I. After casting a blank that I looked forward to putting on the triton and drilling, tonight I went to glue the tube and a few curse words flooded the shop. Luckily I have a few Jr Gent I FP's on hand.

Totally disappointed with my mistake!!!!

Wait, have you just drilled the blank? The tubes for the Jr Gent I (25/64" & 15/32") are slightly smaller than the Triton (10.5mm and 12.5mm). So all you should have to do is drill the blank just a little bigger for the Triton tubes.

I have drlilled and painted the inside of the hole. Because of my lather drilling setup (a bit cloogie) I am guaranteed the holes will not align. At least the blanks are not a total waste.

Ooops!
The Jr Gent II and the Triton use the same diameter tubes.
Glad that you can recover.
