Jr. Gent clip loosening

All the the Jr. Gent 2 kits I have made suffer from the same ailment. The finial loosens after repeated clipping to pockets. This loosens the clip and it freely rotates unless I bash it on the desk to reset the finial. So far this has not damaged the finial.

How can I avoid this in the future? I feel pretty certain that I could wiggle the finial off so is there a way to solve the issue on the ones I have built?

Do you use Loctite on them? If not I would try the Blue and if that does not fix it up it to the Red.

I use the red locktite and haven't had a problem with it since.
