finally the motivation to finish this project. I started to collect alot of "stuff" and decided it was time to organize, especially when I dumped the BLO all over my foot. i'll post this we, i hope

Redd,

I built this lathe stand for my Delta Midi and I really like it. I modified the plan a little. I added a door on the left to hide the shelves. I also added some drawers on the right behind the door. And I added a third chisel drawer. I used two layers of MDF on the top to make it a little heavier. The stand is solid.

Here is my setup. Couldn't be easier. I don't think it cost any more than if I bought the supplies to build one. Yes it is stable. The more junk you put in it the more stable it is. When I want to bring the car in I just wheel it out of the way. ;)
