Has anybody tried to make a stylus like they are selling for Ipads? I was wondering where you could get the rubber tip for them. I saw a pen in a magazine with the rubber tip on one side and a pen on the other, pretty cool.

PSI sells what they call 2-Way Tech-Pen that includes black and green ink along with a PDA stylus tip. $6.45 page 28 in the new cat. Maybe this would help.

The ipad uses a capacitive touch screen, so it needs an appropriate stylus.

The material that each company uses is a closely guarded secret, but most of them are variations on the theme of carbon bearing rubber.

I have made my own by getting conductive thread from sparkfun and wrapping it really tight around a piece of sharpened, then blunted aluminum rod.

Thanks for the responses, I though these might be the next hot seller. you can buy a stylus for around $20 and then take the parts that you want I guess. I will continue the search!
