Is there a good video somewhere on how to do inlays in pen turnings? Or can some one give me a quick description on how to do it and what style of pens and what kinds of wood it works best with

There's a great article in the January 2010 issue of Creative Woodworks and Crafts..you'd have to call them and order it because it is no longer on the shelf, and there is an article in the Winter issue of woodturning design which may or may not still be available in a store somewhere. Larger pens like Jr Gent are always easier to work with. Eventually I'll have those articles on my website. I heard the lady that does the PDF work at the magazine broke her ankle and has been off work a while, thus the long delay.

For the more intracate designs, it seems that people pretty much either have a laser, or farm the job out to someone who does. However, I've been playing with scroll sawing ans casting lately. I have a pen I did for the PITH I want to do a thread about, just haven't had the time.
