Here is my attempt at the post from Richard on the inlay. It took me quite a while to figure out exactly what he was talking about. IF, I figured it out. And he may have another way in which he did it. So thanks to Richard.

Here is the wood blank after cutting and doing the inlay.
The next pic is of the board I cut the angle in. This happened to be at 45 degrees. By changing the angle it will spread the pattern out or bring it closer together.
