I am looking for different metallic inlay materials. The brass key cuttings in my previous post are just a bit large. I ran into a site on the net for douglas & sturgess. They carry all kinds of sculpting materials. They carry atomized metal powder in a number of different metals. The price is under $11 for a one pound can, which is peanuts compared to inlace, etc. Has anyone ever used this stuff or know if it will even work to inlay in pens. I have been using thick CA with the brass cuttings but I don't know if "atomized metal powder" would react with it or if it would be suitable for inlay.

I would either call or email the company and ask. BB has ground up stone of different kinds and it isn't badly prised. His stone will work with either CA or epoxy, I bought and used several and have had no problems.

Jim, I have used their powders for inlays and other stuffs.
Can't go wrong with it. But it doesn't mix with resin that good.
1 bottle will last you a life time,(I buy the smallest one) unless you are allways filling
the Grand Canyon. LOL
