Sometime ago I asked for some input on high end pens with minimal bling for a bank board of directors. I appreciated the input and took a couple of suggestions that I try the Gentleman's Rollerball from Timberbits. It took quite a while to get here and my enthusiasm was at it's peak tilll I opened the box and realized I did not order the bushings - HOT DANG YO MOMMA!!!! While I have many sets of bushings already, does anyone know if there is a set of correlating bushings that will work with this kit - El Grande, Curchill, etc? If you do, thaks ahead of time for sabing me time this weekend with trial and error.:)

Best bet is to try looking it up.

http://content.penturners.org/library/general_reference/bushingsandtubes.pdf

Look for the Gent's Roller ball and write down the bushing measurements.

Then look for bushing measurements that match and cross reference to the kit.

Failing that. Measure the kit components and use bushings smaller than those measurements then measure the diameter as you turn. This takes a bit longer to turn with stopping and measuring, but I believe yields a superior fit to the pieces.

Its really not that hard to make a set of bushings. All you need is a good caliper. I've made them out of wood, corian, brass, delrin, and steel.
