How are the trnsmissions in CSUSA'S artisan slimline pen kits?

Hello, I made a few of Csusa's artisan slimline pen kits.

I noticed that the transmissions seemed a little tougher to turn.

I have heard people on here say that you should get a up graded transmission for the cheap chinese slimlines.


My question is......are these the transmissions that I should avoid? or are they the higher grade ones???

I noticed that the transmissions on some of the cheap "fancy slimlines" are really easy to turn.

I use a little bit of WD40 on all transmissions before fitting in the pen so they turn easier. Work it in and they turn real nice.
