How much CA was used?

OK...I had a little play time today.
Here are a couple pictures of the blank.

Now. Before you think to yourself, "Lovely....another pen blank made with lots of little chunks of wood glued together"
Look at how the edge of all the pieces are cut.

I'll actually give this one till tomorrow to cut and turn. Oh...as far as the amount of CA used? Let's just say LOTS.

BTW, what did you use to do the cuttin? Looks almost like a pair of hot pinking shears!

Jim,
On this one I let my engraver cut all the little pieces for me.[8)]
Just couldn't get my miter saw to cut the little angles.

Actually Dave I am hoping that it ads a nice touch. Who knows, This may be another one for the Ziploc bag that seems to get fuller and fuller.
