How do you dye wood?

I've looked around in the library and did not find anything. I've heard a few ways, but I would like to know what is the best or most common way to dye wood different colors.

From what I hear a lot of people use a pressure pot for stabilizing and also dyeing wood. I am a fairly newbie so please don't just take my word on it. Look in the links in "vendors" for someplace that sells dyed blanks and you may be able to find out some more info on it. Hope I helped at least a little. Len
