How do you like the picture of the pen I almost made?
It was a real pretty Jarrah Burl.
Got it about half way done, and it broke a chip out of one end. But I thought I might be able to salvage it. WRONG. The further I got into it it had lots of cracks. Used a lot of CA on it, but then it broke a big chip out of the middle. Dam the bad luck. All total I put about 3 hours into this pen, that almost was.
I hope tomorrow is a better day.

Just for fun, went through your album. You have some nice stuff there. Especially liked the blue Gemini and the spalted tamarind slimline.

It was really bad. Stressed me out to the max. Especially after I spent so much time on it trying to nurse it through.
Well i'm set up and ready to give it another go, but with a different piece of wood this time.
