Trying to identify this wood. Very dense and tight grained. Checked by books and nothing looks similar so far. Any ideas?

The Honduran rosewood I have is considerably darker than the picture. Waterfall bubinga is a possibilty but that tends to have a tighter pattern.

Wildman, that is a great site, and I have spent a lot of time looking at the photos.
That was the second place I checked after one of my wood books.
Thanks.

After spending more time looking at photos, I tend to think it is Kevazingo (thanks Turbowagon).
It seems to match the piece I saw the best and I had not seen the 'waterfall' variety.

I have seen alot of water fall bubinga. and that is not it. Bubinga is close packed grain, and waterfall is different from that. I had a peice of honduran rosewood that looked exactly like this.
