help please

I just made a screw cap rollerball pen, sort of, and I need a little help. The instructions say to "press the black plastic cap reciever onto the small end of the reducer/coupler". I do this, but through using the pen I found that the plastic piece slips back off. Can I use some CA and glue it on? Any other suggestions?

Which kit is this, Matt?

It is from woodcraft, the kit is called the Classic American Style Screw Cap Rollerball. The kit # is 126665.

A tiny dot of CA should solve the problem with no ill-effects. Good luck!

Remember to put the ca in a place where it won't squeeze out when pressed together and let the pen set open for a few hours to let the ca gas out or it will cloud the gold.

I have made these pens before and have also had the same problem you describe. Put a dot, or 2, of CA on the inside of the plastic (I thought it was metal) piece, and press, or push, onto the coupler/reducer. DO NOT put the glue on the coupler as it will leak out and wreck all your hard work.
