Just got in some beautiful, burls and swirls ,from buzz7164.I have never turned any wood mixed with alumilite before , so any suggestions ,the main thing I would like to get an ideal on is, before I mess one up.
How fragile ,when drilling and when turning?
They are just to( purty) to mess up.
Plan on using skew as always.
finish with ca finish

PS I might have just jumped in started turning but he sanded and buffed them (WOW) I just want to take it slow and do it right.
any help would be appreciated.

Just from my experience at my own worthless wood casts... keep your tools sharp and dont get agressive turning, sanding, or drilling. When drilling, back the drill bit out often to clear the hole.
