Grenadilla

Has anybody turned this wood before. I bought some several months ago and turned a couple of pens. I guess the wood I have is a burl it has a very dark grain and areas that are cream colored. The wood has some very interesting grain and a prismatic quality. I will try to post some pictures as soon as I get my photo area set up.

That is a beautiful pen. The wood I have is as dark as cocobolo mixed with cream coloring and the creamy areas when the finish is applied has almost holographic properties to it.
