Got me some Yew... look out Russ :)

Just got home from the office and found a package containing the Yew I had won on ebay a few weeks ago. I bid on 2 pieces of duck call blanks 2X2X8 and won the auction for the opening bid of $5. I plan on cutting these up into 12 pen blanks about 5 inches long and having 2 blocks left for either a couple of weed pots or 12 Sierra blanks or a combination of both. I think I may possibly have a small gloat in here somewhere

Since Russ Fairfield likes to use this wood, I figure it will help me make some pens closer to his level of excellence. It just has to be the wood he is using, what do you think?
