Hello All,

Trying my first snake skins and in gluing them to the tubes I have run into a little difficulty. Actually the tube part is going fine it is when I get to the overlap of the skin it does not want to glue to itself. Is there maybe a lot of oil in the skin? Any suggestions?

Regards, Steve

Hey Steve,
I've glued a few skins to tubes and haven't had problems with the overlap. I suppose the skin could be oily. You could try to wipe the skin with denatured alcohol to remove any residue that may impede the glue from working. Have you read my tutorial? email me if I can help further.
Do a good turn daily!
