Just curious what the preferred glue is that people are using for segmenting? Is there a differnt in opinion when using different material such as an all wood segment and mixed wood, metal and plastics?

Thanks for your time

Dana, I use thick CA for ANY segmenting. It gives you time to get the pieces in place before setting up.

Adding to Chuck's way of doing things, we drizzle thin CA over the blank once it is all glued up. Kind of helps to stabilize the blank. We also do this as we are turning depending on the complexity of the segments.

Forgot to add that part in. ALSO, don't forget to scuff the surfaces with some 320 to knock off burrs and give the glue something to grip.
