Getting Started with my Lathe

Finally got to work with my new Rikon 70-100...did some drilling and it worke great for that. Easy change on the belt to the lowest range and
walke the 13/32 and 7mm drills right through. Had a couple of 12.5mm and I drilled them first with the 13/32 then with the 12.5mm. Probably will do some gluing up tonight and about tomorrow I should have a few ready to put the skew to.

Nothing to see --- I just used a couple of clamps to put the strain relief in a different spot....maybe one day I"ll buy some new gromets but haven't done so yet.

Slimlines

I did a couple of slimlines today but it was not a day to take pictures. Had to keep the lights on in the house and I only take pen photos in natural light. Maybe I'll get the tomorrow. My lack of practice with wood shows but since these were testing some new finishes on kits and will be keepers I don't mind that.
