Had this piece of Eucalypt Burl heavy waxed (ugg) for many years thin sliced it to remove the wax from the sides left the top cleaned that looking now for a 1 1/2 inch Crystal bottle to suit. I find the commercial offerings at the Pen Shop here squat and large with little ink compared with the size. I have stood away from Fountain pens bad experiences with dip pens, ink wells , ruined shirts in my youth.

Very nice Peter, as you know I think you showed me this piece on Skype befor inserting the bottle. Peter is a very good friend of mine and a very fine and innovating craftsman.
