I've noticed that on the bottom of each feeder on my fountain pens, there's always a symbol.

On my Jr. Gent/Jr. States/Jr. Emperors, I notice a "5", a "6", and a "2"...

On my Emperor and El Grande's, I notice a "3" a "2" and a "4"...

On my Barons, I see a "K", an "A", an "E" and an "H"...

On my Berea Euros, I see a "C", an "I", and a "D"...

I see no real visual difference between all these feeders, except for the ones that are obviously larger for the large pens. Do these symbols mean anything?

Thanks,

bg

The feeds are injection molded. The letters/numbers are mold numbers and used in quality assurance to determine when a mold needs to be "retired".

James - to be honest with you, I keep a pretty good notebook. My memory use to be photographic, but this darned digital-imagery age has me bamfoozled! [8D]
