Did the pen ever work properly? If it did, then Gary is correct that it needs to be cleaned. If it never worked, that's a different matter.

If you have a converter, you can put the nib in warm water and pull water through the nib with the converter. Washing the water back and forth several times helps. Also, leave the nib to soak in the water for a couple of hours and then flush it well.

Thanks Bill. By the way I started the pen last night for the marine that you sent me wood for. I decided to use the M1 Stock. I'll post a pic when it comes back from the engraver. Thanks.

Also, fountain pens need to be cleaned periodically, even if they are in regular use -- more so if they are used irregularly. Most pens and inks can be cleaned just with plain water straight from the tap.
