Has anybody here ever used a fluting guide or similar to round out a blank?
I have the PSI fluting guide and tried it, but the trim router I used was crap (overheated fast). Anyway, my question is if you have, what's your process? Do you do the corners the slowly turn the center by hand? Or do you turn on the lathe at the highest of lowest speed and go all in it?

I have a bunch of blanks I would like to just prep and round out for future use, not trying to get it close to bushings just to cheat through the process, just round off some square blanks.

I just trim the edges with my band saw if I think the blank will be a problem, like some acrylics. I know some people use a sander but I think most people just use a lathe tool, they're pretty quick too. JMO.
