I would appreciate your input on replacing an end cap on a 25 year old Waterman pen. My client broke the end cap on his pen. I've given him several options to persue...New York Pen Hospital, Richard Binder (Waterman does not keep replacement parts for this age of pen). I tried an endcap from a Berea Series 2000 flat top American screw cap fountain pen. The cylinder is shiney black and matches his fountain pen. However, the post on the end of his pen tapers down in size and the only contact is where the cylinder hits the end of his post. I'm thinking that I can fill the Berea end cap with two part epoxy and post it on his pen. My question is will this be strong enough or should I mix the epoxy with shavings to give the cylinder more bulk. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Darrell Eisner
