These are pens that I made for my brother-in-law using the BLO/CA finish. First try at it and I love it. My finish of choice from now on! The pens are amboyna burl/sapwood, blackwood/sapwood, crotch walnut, amboyna burl/sapwood. Comments both good and bad welcomed!

Very nice!

Something to consider with BLO/CA finish... When I do it I can't keep the shine. I think I loose the shine when the BLO finally cures. I have been meaning to wait a couple days then polish and see how it turns out, but haven't got around to it.

If you know a better way, please, let me know!

Great work on the pens. They would show up/show off better with a contrasting background. Even having a reddish brown background isn't that great because it kind of adds to the pen colors.
