I just finished turning my first pen. It's a Rosewood slimlime that was part of a beginner's kit from Penn State (which included a Craftmaster lathe). This is the first thing I have ever turned and I think I'm hooked. Hopefully I get better as I go along. I will definitely be turning more.

I looked at an enlarged view of the pen. First, there is no cure for the addiction. Just be aware of it. Second, the fit of the blank and the finish are excellent! What's next on the list?
Used to live in Shreveport and Pineville, LA.

Thank you guys. This is definitely a lot of fun and I get to see resilts pretty quickly as opposed to larger woodworking projects I have built. I appreciate the kind words and encouragement.
