Default First pen

I just finished turning my first pen. Itís a Rosewood slimlime that was part of a beginnerís kit from Penn State (which included a Craftmaster lathe). This is the first thing I have ever turned and I think Iím hooked. Hopefully I get better as I go along. I will definitely be turning more.

Very nice...and welcome aboard. Do you really think you are hooked? My friend you are HOOKED. You have no idea how hooked you are. RUN NOW. The hook becomes a snag line.

I looked at an enlarged view of the pen. First, there is no cure for the addiction. Just be aware of it. Second, the fit of the blank and the finish are excellent! What's next on the list?
Used to live in Shreveport and Pineville, LA.

Really nice! I wish I'd gotten that good a fit on my first go.
