First Jr Retro Question

I got 2 Jr Retro's and was wondering what or how is the best way to do the cap finial. I've seen several Retro's on here with the finial matching the pen blank and was'nt sure just how to knock out the finial and turn one and attach it to the cap.
Sooooo alittle help ( advice ) is needed please.

For the jr. Gent but wuld be the same for the Jr. Retro, the library is a good plsce to look for answers...
