First attempt

Well here it is my first attempt and combining metal and wood. Thanks to everyone who helped me and answered all my questions. This is my first and definitely not my last. There were a lot of challenges in making this pen. But for my first I guess I'll keep it.

My oh my! For your first, that is fantastic! By all means be sure to keep that one. I had made well over 100 before I even attempted segmenting with metal. You are way ahead of the curve. Keep asking the questions and reading the library. Great job.

I kinda just stumbled into segmenting with metal early. Got lucky a few times. That looks great. I'm sorely tempted to go burn my hand on that stove again.
