Turned my first piece of antler earlier this evening. Planning on doing a casing pen. I really didn't find it to have any type of offensive odor while turning or drilling. Cutting a section from the whole antler with the miter saw was a different story!!

Finished it with CA.

Looks good. Waiting on my grandparents to bring me some antlers from ruidosa if they remembered to bring them home. Told them to bring me some as they had plenty laying around. Although first pen I make out of it will have to go to them. the set I looked at when I was up there a few weeks ago could make quite a few pens

I figured I might as well get the casing ready as I am awaiting the order to arrive which has the copper kit for this pen. Drilled the casing, fitted and installed the tube then buffed out the brass a bit.
