With many years of building RC planes and using CA is sorta blocking out the other finish methods out there.
For a newbie to pen making what are some easy finish's do you guys use for a high quility finish?

Two oz. can do a fair number of pens. The trick is to get most of it on the pen and not absorbing into the paper towel. The small bags parts come in work well as applicators.

Craft foam cut into 1" strips makes a great CA applicator. The CA does not absorb into the foam, it gives a real smooth application and the CA doesn't penetrate through to your fingers. You can find good size packages at Dollar Tree Stores or other such retailers.

Stabilized wood, sand and buff, game over.
