Dec 27, 2008 #3 I can think of a few ways, one is to check the Local Chapters section of these forums http://www.penturners.org/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=73 Another is to check the American Association of Woodturners site and look for a local chapter of that organization. http://www.woodturner.org/community/chapters/ Yet another method is to go to a few local craft shows and see if any of the vendors are turners. If so, they may be able to point you to local turners. If you have a Woodcraft or Rockler store close to you, you can check with them.
