Filling blank voids

Would there be any reason why antler dust could not be used to fill voids in a wood blank? I have not attempted this before and was not sure if it would bond and lood good. TIA for your help.

it would probably need to be literally dust, like off power sander. I have tried using antler "almost dust" without success.

ca tend's to yellow the dust. Use a coffe grinder to make it into powder.

I see no reason why it won't work. I wouldn't personally bother because the antler dust is not exactly safe to be around, so I would not be collecting and storing it. I would choose something else, like grinding dust of some corian. You still need a mask of course, but there won't be any bacteria in the corian.

Thanks all for the input. Jeff I think that I will try to grind some white corian, I had not thought of it. I had some small plastic case with shavings and the only white that I had was antler. Thanks again.
