I have not turned a pen a for a while so I got back at it this weekend. The lighter color wood is from some branches off of our plum tree that my husband cut down over the summer. I am not sure what the darker wood is but I was doing an experiment with the finishing since it was the same type of wood. The top is just ca the bottom is BLO that I let sit overnight then did ca.

Very nice work on these pens. I have some of the wood on the bottom pen. It shimmers when you look at it. I think it's African Mahogony.
